Liu Qie, Associate Professor of Chongqing University, China

He received his BSc and PhD degrees in Automatic Control from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He was a visiting PhD student at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada from 2014 to 2015. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, Beijing. Since 2018, he has joined the School of Automation in Chongqing University, Beijing, China. He is currently an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in Chongqing University.

His main research interests include the artificial intelligence and its applications on the control and optimization of complex process.
